Blacklines/Construction Document Printing and Plotting
Blueprints have fallen to technology and our blackline printing process can take care all of your architectural rendering needs. Much more cost-effective, accurate, and durable than blueprints, blacklines are ready when you need them — and they are recyclable! We can produce blacklines from digital files or by scanning your original prints/blueprints. We are able to handle originals up to 36 inches in width by any controllable length. Please note, T&N cannot manipulate your print data. YOU are responsible for creating the correct plot data.

Please do NOT bring the CAD files in their native formats (DWG, DXF, DGN, etc.) Instead, use your CAD system to plot your data to a named file on disk. Bring these files to T&N on CD, ZIP Drive, thumb drive, or post them on our FTP site or email them. (See the Contact Us page for additional information). Providing plotfiles and PDFs, not CAD files, keeps the process simple and gives you more control over the outcome of your data.

DIGITAL OUTPUT WILL BE PROVIDED:
As Vector (CAD) and Raster (image) data
In Microsoft Windows and Macintosh compatible formats
In files compatible with all major CAD, Imaging, and Desktop Publishing systems
In black & white only (colors and grays will be interpreted as halftone screens)

Digital printing allows for fast output-files can be printed within minutes!

Scanning (color & BW)
Scanning allows hard-copy (paper/printed/drawn) items to be made into a digital image. We scan items up to 40 inches wide; however, we can NOT scan items mounted on boards, canvas, or other thick surfaces.

SCANNING PROVIDES:
Files for both digital storage and/or digital output
Images saved in TIFF, JPG, and PDF format, call for details
Images compatible with Microsoft Windows and Macintosh
Images with resolutions of 200-400 dpi at the original (paper) size
Files saved to ZIP disk, thumb drive, zip drive, or CD, depending on file size (You may
    provide a disk or device to store your files. Please bring storage items with enough
    memory available. We will supply a ZIP disk or CD, depending on file size, for an
    additional fee.)
Photo enhancement setting for better halftoning (density patterns), colors, and grays
