T&N Printing offers a full suite of services to accommodate all your prepress needs.
Scanning (Color and B&W)
We scan items up to 40” wide, and provide TIFF, JPG, and PDF output compatible with Windows and Macintosh. Image resolutions can be 200–400 dpi at the dimensions of the original artwork. Please note that we cannot scan items mounted on boards, canvas, or other thick surfaces.
T&N is Now Direct-to-Plate
This process eliminates the need for film and allows a smooth and efficient transition from file to press. The direct-to-plate workflow eliminates blueline proofs in favor of much higher quality Epson color proofs.
File Formats
Electronic files delivered to us should be generated in InDesign, QuarkXPress, Photoshop, Illustrator, Pagemaker, or Freehand. Please contact us if you have questions regarding file set up or use of software not listed above.

Higher resolution, durability, dependable inks, and wide selection of papers make offset printing the quality choice for printed pieces. We take pride in helping you choose the right inks, papers, and finishes for your job. Our equipment is up-to-date, ensuring that every job is done correctly. We use the best printing plates and ink the industry has to offer for high quality printing. Our “direct to plate” system insures accurate and efficient production from the electronic files to the printing press. Our bindery department takes care of scoring, folding, binding, and other services to guarantee a finished product that meets your needs and specifications.
Printing Options:
We have presses that can handle from 1-color to 5-color printing in a single pass. Varnish and aqueous coatings are available and we can print sheet sizes up to 20” x 26”.
Once your job is printed we offer a full range of bindery options including folding, perfect binding, saddle stitching, die-cutting, perforating, spiral binding, drilling, foil stamping, embossing and debossing. See the Bindery section below for more details.

Our Digital Printing department provides short run color printing with fast turnaround at an economical price, as well as photocopying and large format imaging.
The Advantages of Digital Printing
- Low minimum quantity. Because digital printing requires no prepress or makeready, you can economically produce a handful of pieces.
- Quick turnaround. Where offset printing requires turnaround times in days or weeks, digital turnaround times are often measured in hours.
- Digital is very consistent. Because each piece is imaged independently from the original digital file, there is usually less variation in a digital run than when using offset technology
- Customization. Each piece of a digital printing run can be customized. This is called variable data printing and uses information from a database to change the content of the print run without stopping the press.
- Accurate proofing. Digital printing features completely accurate proofing since the proof is an actual sample of the final product.
Digital printing is an increasingly popular choice. But offset can still be the better choice. If you have any questions about which you should use, feel free to contact us and we will help you make the decision.
Special Types of Low Volume Reproduction
There are two special capabilities that apply to the low volume repro market. One is simple Photocopying and has the advantage of being very inexpensive. We offer color and B&W photocopying up to 11” x 17” size. The other is Large Format Imaging. We can produce high-quality color printouts up to 44” wide. Consider pairing this beautiful output with mounting and lamination for a truly stunning final product.

NEXT STEPS
Blueprints are a thing of the past. Our blackline printing process can meet all your architectural rendering needs. Much more cost-effective, accurate, and durable than blueprints, blacklines are ready when you need them, and they are recyclable. We can produce blacklines from your digital files or by scanning your original prints or blueprints. We can handle originals up to 36” wide by any controllable length.

What NOT to send
Please do not send CAD files in their native formats (DWG, DXF, DGN, etc.). Instead use your CAD system to plot your data to a named PDF or plotfile. Submitting those files will streamline the process and give you more control over the output of your data. IMPORTANT: We cannot manipulate your print data. You are responsible for creating the correct plot data.
Construction Document Management
For large projects, T&N also offers complete document management. We will store and manage your blackline files, making them rapidly and efficiently available to you at all times. For details, contact:

Drymounting
We drymount items up to 42” x 60”. As a backing board you may choose Foamcore or Gator Board in either black or white and in various thicknesses.
Laminating
Our laminating services and materials are second to none. Our Laminator is a “GBC Falcon” model which accommodates up to 36 inches and uses pressure and heat to apply its coating. Heat and pressure are the main ingredients for a true quality protective covering to your items. We use thick and durable 5 mil laminate on both sides to ensure a solid finish. If you need paper, card stock, or even dry mounts laminated we can do it.
